CRMU Leads the Way in CLEAN ENERGY

100% of CRMU's Retail Energy Sales Were Supplied by Renewables in 2020!
CRMU is committed to providing clean energy for our customers and our future. Since 2016, 100% of CRMU's retail energy sales have been supplied by clean, renewable energy sources. CRMU actively pursues clean energy projects which can be cost-effectively added into our generation portfolio.

CRMU has a long-term contract with the Western Area Power Administration to receive power generated from hydro-electric facilities located at various dams along the Missouri River. CRMU also receives power from two different wind farms in northern Iowa.
